Lead the design, fabrication, installation, & commissioning of new control systems or the refurbishment of existing systems. Troubleshoot issues w/ existing systems to root-cause & work w/ operators in the field to optimize existing equipment. Analyze data from existing operations to design & optimize control systems. Implement standard SCADA systems across the fleet & maintain support of these systems for data gathering & analysis. Prep specs & other engineering docs to procure & install a wide variety of hydro-electric equipment & systems. Provide operations & maintenance recommendations for hydro-electric systems. Manage project implementation. Up to 30% travel for project supervision & execution.
Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field, & 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation.
• Must have 5 years of CAD experience in electrical drawings including single-line diagram, schematics, block, & wiring among electrical industry standards, such as IEEE, ANSI, NEC, IEC, & ISO.
• Must have 5 years of experience in panel building & wiring, including testing (debug), installation & commissioning of electrical equipment in different systems.
• Must have 5 years of industrial automation experience, including PLCs & HMIs, controls networks, DeviceNet, ControlNet, & EtherNet.
• Any required experience may have been gained concurrently.
