Requires a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience as a quality engineer, mechanical engineer, or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience as a quality engineer, mechanical engineer, or related occupation.
Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: Geometric dimension & tolerancing; Using inspection metrology equipment; ISO-9001 or IATF 16949; quality management systems including development, documentation, & implementation of requirements; quality management system audits; driving process & part cost reduction solutions; production control methods using tools, including Control Plans, PFMEA, Error proofing, SPC, Six Sigma & Continuous improvement initiatives; & Data analysis tools, including Minitab & MS Office.
