Provide practical & strategic solutions, strategic plan, workforce design, succession plan, talent acquisition & development. Develop implement & manage technology, workforce development program for recruitment of technical talent for original equipment manufacturer. Provide practical & strategic solutions, strategic plan & workforce design, succession plan, retention, learning, performance management, compensation & employee engagement, proactively address & resolve key people issues.
Requirements: Bachelor's Business Management or HR Management & 2 years experience in HR related to skilled technical trades (employees with backgrounds in mining, construction & heavy equipment related industries), including managing, creating & strategic initiatives for talent acquisition, development & retention programs, manage compensation development program & assessment for technical employees, develop partnerships with colleges & other organizations for attracting new technical talent; DISC training & Canadian employment laws. Approximately 25% travel within U.S. & Canada, occasional international travel, to company sites. When not traveling, required to work on-site in Chicago.
