• Conduct field testing • Conduct materials test and analysis, using tools and equipment, and applying engineering knowledge • Test characteristics of materials or structures for compliance with specifications • Collect and analyze samples from construction sites to verify material quality. Generate reports in accordance with all standard procedures and formats. • Monitor construction processes to ensure adherence to engineering standards • Inspect project sites and evaluate contractor work to detect design malfunctions • Assess field conditions and report findings to supervisory staff • Follow all safety protocols • Handle construction materials and equipment up to 50 pounds • Work at various heights using suspended swing-stages, scaffolding, boom-lifts, and scissor-lifts • Climb ladders and work in elevated positions safely • Maintain a safe working environment and follow OSHA regulations • Use specialized testing equipment for materials analysis • Maintain and calibrate testing instruments and tools.
HS and 12 months of experience required.
