Remitly, Inc. seeks Security Engineer to design and implement strategies to secure our corporate infrastructure. Position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, followed by 3 years of experience performing enterprise security. In the alternative, the employer will accept two years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, followed by 3 years of experience performing enterprise security.
Experience must also include 1 year with each of the following: communicating risks & resulting mitigations to partners; collecting & analyzing security logs & related telemetry; performing system or network architecture reviews; assessing risks related to SaaS apps, including driving improvements from vendors & configuration management; securing operating systems, including Windows, Linux, & macOS; responding to endpoint incidents arising from EDR tools, including CrowdStrike Falcon, & local agents; managing end-user authentication & SSO through an identity provider; reviewing security-related configurations of public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, & GCP; using CI/CD to manage detection-as-code & SaaS configuration; managing & triaging vulnerabilities from network scanners & cloud security posture management tools, including QualysGuard, Wiz, & PrismaCloud; & producing reports on posture & compliance.
Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. based on manager approval. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Job Location: Seattle, WA. Rate of Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year.
