Support valuation & financial reporting of annuity blocks. Work w/ valuation team in both reporting & analysis of business. Calculate US Statutory, Tax, US General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) reserves & other related actuarial balances.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's (US or foreign equivalent) in Math, Actuarial Science or related analytical field + 2 years' experience in actuarial valuation role. 2 years' experience in following: working in insurance or pension industry; working in Actuarial Valuation role; working w/ annuity or pension insurance products; using Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook & Teams); communicating & coordinating w/ multiple teams; personal accountability for execution of goals & objectives through completion of tasks timely & accurately; & participating or generating new & unique ideas such as making procedural changes or creating new procedures in effective & controlled manner. Licenses/Certifications: Completed Associate credentials of Society of Actuaries.
