Responsibilities incl: Develop & execute system validation strategies for L4 trucking autonomy modules (perception, planning, prediction, localization); Build test plans & specs across testing modalities incl simulation & real-world testing; Work closely w/ systems engg teams on validation test plans for completeness & coverage across ODD & behavior; Develop & implement strategies for analyzing real-world to measure performance & identify challenging & relevant events; Identify, develop & measure performance metrics & report on performance eval; Identify, build & deploy frameworks/pipelines to enable metric generation & eval; Trace identified metrics to safety case tree; & support generation of safety case & release recommendation reports.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar, 2 years of experience in a scenario engineer or testing engineer role w/ an autonomous vehicle co., & 24 months of experience using Python, YAML, SQL, Jira, Confluence, Github, & Polarion.
