Sidel Inc. seeks FSE Aseptic Filler Automation in Norcross, GA.
Duties: Lead installation, commissioning, and start-up of complex equipment and systems at customer sites, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and safety standards. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve more complex equipment issues related to mechanical systems. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to recommend and implement technical improvements that enhance system performance. Conduct advanced testing and performance evaluations of equipment at the customer plant and provide detailed reports on findings. Document and escalate critical equipment non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain effective communication with customers and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Provide mentoring and coaching to junior engineers and Field Service Engineer I team members, offering guidance on-site behavior, troubleshooting methods, and technical reporting. Collaborate with the Integrated Service Manager (ISM) to coordinate site activities and manage Level 1 FSE performance. Identify and communicate after-sales opportunities based on insights gathered at customer sites. Assist Global Product Support and Training teams in developing technical materials and continuously improving the Field Service Engineer Qualification Program.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in a related occupation. Additionally, requires 2 years of experience in the following: Electrical base; Automation systems; P&ID scheme reading; Customer management; Report elaboration and Ticketing system use. Travel required (international) estimated at 90% of time throughout Americas (US – Canada – Latin America). Telecommuting is permitted.
