Responsible for plant P&L. Manage Director of Operational Excellence and operations management team to ensure implementation of production/process engineering, quality, safety, and HR management system guidelines. Lead organization, focusing on key operating and financial metrics and continuously improving performance against those metrics. Identify required resources to achieve long-term success. Collaborate with International Global Quality and Technology teams to improve critical business processes and share best practices, identify ongoing and new customer and market opportunities. Maintain relationships with key customers and develop new relationships.
Min. requirements: BS in Mech Eng, Electronic Eng, Aviation Eng, or closely related engineering discipline. Will accept foreign degree equivalent. 5 years in offered job, or 5 years as Quality Manager, Quality Systems Manager, Head of Quality or closely related position. Experience must include 5 years in turbine engine and/or aviation engine industry working across functions within an organization with manufacturing and aftermarket experience; 3 years with NADCAP accredited company conducting quality control and compliance with aviation products and standards; 3 years growing companies' revenues focused on increasing business volume and customer satisfaction; 3 years establishing and using KPIs to measure performance, and applying problem-solving and policy deployment skills to CI and longer-term strategic objectives.
