Requires bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Must have 4 years experience as a Network Engineer, Junior Network Engineer, or related occupation supporting critical IT network infrastructure in a highly available 24/7 environment. Including experience with: articling technical experts; building custom solutions; networking concepts; walking through communication flows in extensive detail; mentoring & providing technical guidance to junior engineers & peers; WAN technologies including SDWAN, satellite, cellular, & broadband connectivity; network financials & billing; working with end users & IT staff to define network requirements for IT systems; user experience; troubleshooting network infrastructure & components; IT systems, & cloud environments; communicating through enterprise scale network & network security environments; Juniper/Mist & hybrid multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP); routing & switching (BGP, OSPF); Palo Alto, Forescout, & F5 security tools; network access controls; L2/3 MPLS (EVPN, VXLAN, ACI, OTV); B2B & remote access VPNs; RF environments; RTLS technologies (BLE, UWB); & disaster recovery environments.
