SAP FICO Senior Functional Analyst. Collaborate and facilitate workshops, gather information on current business processes and prepare comprehensive documentation of business requirements to formulate effective solutions. Analyze business requirements to identify opportunities for enhancing SAP systems. Conduct Data Mapping exercises. Work with tax systems and perform Gap Analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes (As-Is) and desired outcomes (To-Be). Proactively identify issues and provide effective workarounds to ensure system functionality. Architect, design, and define financial system blueprints. Stay updated on the latest SAP updates and financial regulations. Map client's business requirements and processes. Design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO modules within SAP systems. Serve as a liaison with internal clients and vendors for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and solving software problems. Document functional designs, test cases, and results for future reference. Provide consulting services for new implementations and existing support projects. Lead or participate in SAP implementation projects. Validate the system through rigorous testing. Perform system upgrades and patches as needed. Create and maintain documentation for SAP configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requires M.S. in Business Administration or foreign equivalent and background with SAP systems, Tax systems, Data Mapping, FI/CO modules within SAP systems, Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) modules, SAP Financials (including FICO Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment, and settlement), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM) and Production planning (PP) modules.
