Duties: Assist with traffic analysis and design of transportation projects. Design signing, pavement markings, traffic control signals, temporary traffic control devices and lighting. Complete traffic engineering studies, traffic analyses and modeling, and transportation management plans (TMP). Evaluate traffic operations, signal timing, signal phasing, coordination, safety, congestion, bicycle and pedestrian needs for intersections and corridors. Assist with the development of preliminary design through construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications development. Requires travel to local sites within 50 miles of worksite address. $90,750.00 - $101,548.80 per year.
