Lead a growing team structured around the testing and validation of Aptiv's North American OEM Autonomous Driving vehicle programs. Take ownership for Vehicle System testing as the primary point of contact internally and externally for North American test activities. Work closely with the Validation Tools Development team to influence the vision and execution of new testing methods and tools, such as on track and off track testing, data analytics and/or data loggers. Work closely with the Pursuit team to provide quotation and estimations for the pursuit projects. Plan and forecast budget for the whole group in regards to people and tools. Plan and forecast the project and/or programs needs for successful execution of testing deliverables. Drive team engagement and continue developing a rewarding, respectful and exciting team environment. Lead the hiring and interviewing process, ensuring the placement of only top talent on the Test team. Partner and collaborate with global counterparts in Europe and Asia-Pacific, leading global testing workshops, sharing tools and methods, and bringing big ideas to reality.
