Duties: Design and develop software products and services. Test Automation, Performance, and integration testing. Identify performance issues and optimize solutions. Feature design, evaluate designs, and provide feedback. CI/CD, drive build and release plans and implementation required to deploy applications to production environment. Collaborate with technical program management, analytics, and business partners to build scalable and durable. Production support. Mentoring new engineers in the team. The software being developed is used to ingest and manage product data consumed from different Nordstrom suppliers. The software takes care of running automated business rules, creating product hierarchy, database storage, providing services for retrieval, exporting data for other downstream systems and UI features to search/manage the data. As the data is coming from different suppliers, the data needs to be made consistent for the other systems within Nordstrom.
