Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Engage in continuous learning, seeking help and feedback from your mentor and team to enhance your technical skills. Improve and maintain Lockbox paper check matching functionality to increase efficiency. Assist in maintaining certificates for credit card APIs. Grade and provide feedback on weekly assignments as a teaching assistant. Conduct office hours to assist students with coursework and assignments. Engage in data cleaning, logistic regression, and building predictive models for projects. Construct UML diagrams, create databases, and write Java functions to manage data.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field plus 6 months of experience in related occupations. Also requires 6 months of experience in the following: programming languages such as Java and Ruby on Rails; maintaining and developing loss mitigation strategies for different financial products; building and supporting web apps that automate matching paper checks with customers; working with servicing FinTech systems; working with gRPC APIs. Telecommuting is permitted.
