Duties: Assist electricians in installation, maintenance, repair of electrical systems in residential/commercial remodels. Read blueprints; identify scope of work. Prepare work areas, equipment, materials; use tools for stripping & running wires, measuring & cutting conduit; make trenches/holes for installing wiring & electrical equipment using hand & power tools; secure fixtures & panels. Assemble/disassemble equipment. Test wiring & components. Maintain tools and supplies. Comply with safety standards. Frequent travel to unanticipated client sites within the San Francisco Bay Area is required.
Requirements: HS Diploma/GED; OSHA Construction Safety and Health training; 6 months of experience in construction; Certification in electrical cable handling; Knowledge of European electrical equipment & machinery.
