Ensono, Inc. seeks Expert Hardware Configuration Sysprog, Data Migration in Downers Grove, IL.
Duties:
• Setup and configure DASD box including LSS updates and Encryption
• Migrate/replicate DASD data from one location to another. Manage replication using the PPRC synchronous and asynchronous; TDMF, FDRPASS
• Migrate/replicate Tape data from one location to another with replication methodology that includes Copy Refresh, Grid to Grid Migration, Rocket Tape
• Setup SMS Constructs, Storage utilization reports for DASD and Tape
• Architect and build DR solutions from a Storage perspective. Develop DR Plan instructions and handover to the DR Team
• Provide support for both IBM Storage and EMC systems, ensuring comprehensive assistance across different platforms.
• Debug storage solutions which are in error. This includes debugging issues during the migration, support for P1/Major Incidents when requested, DR Drill Support
• Evaluate proposed solutions for supportability.
