ZT Group Int'l, Inc. d/b/a ZT Systems seeks a Staff New Product Introduction Engineer in Secaucus, NJ.
Duties: Serve as the primary interface between global production sites, customer operations, and engineering teams in support of new product launch. Evaluate the technical requirements for new products programs and drive engineering engagement in developing manufacturing preparation plans. Develop and lead programs to prepare the production system for new platforms or customers. Lead manufacturing preparation activities and collaborate with manufacturing planning to develop implementation timelines. Engage NPI and manufacturing engineering in developing manufacturing risk assessments such as DFMs, Design for Test (DFT), and PFMEAs. Lead engineering and management resources to ensure materials, equipment, training, and documentation are in place to support pre-production and production builds. Assess, analyze, consolidate, and communicate risk and status clearly and succinctly to working level and executive audiences. Identify key program issues and work with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and execute solutions. Coordinate internal resources from engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams in technical issue resolution and schedule recovery planning. Lead the Manufacturing Readiness Review process to collect and evaluate the technical status of various NPI programs. Coordinate the engineering & production testing activities which support product development and launch. Author project status, summary, and issue resolution tracking reports.
