• Responsible for the design, testing, application studies, field support, manufacturing support, and innovation on a variety of machine topologies.
• Support various business critical initiatives that include hybrid and battery electric vehicles.
• Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define, and support assigned components, assemblies, or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements.
• Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
• Participate and work with global teams on projects assigned to address specific organizational initiatives.
• Validate new components and subassemblies, author and release of drawings, and specifications.
• Generate engineering documents (DFMEA, Design Review materials, Purchase Specs, meeting notes, technical visuals and presentations, etc.).
• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
• Document and communicate results of technical data generated consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
• Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
