Duties: Serve in management consulting role at global management consulting firm. Conduct organizational studies and evaluations and develop solutions or alternative methods to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively by leading consulting teams and managing subordinate consultants' efforts in: gathering and analyzing data on problems or procedures; analyzing data gathered and developing solutions and alternative methods of proceeding; conferring with personnel to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures; interviewing personnel and conducting on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed and methods, equipment and personnel used; documenting findings of study and preparing recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes; and planning study of work problems and procedures. Lead the design of systems and procedures to address performance concerns within the client's organization and improve the organization's structure, efficiency, or profits. Lead work simplification and measurement studies including benchmarking, best practices, and competitor assessment studies. Directly advise clients on organizational strategy to solve problems and transform operations. Confer with management and consulting team to identify problems and improvements in order to recommend implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
