Supporting the performance of the large-scale papermaking equipment at our customers' facilities across North America. Developing the machine code in PLC or DCS systems as well as Human Machine Interface (HMI) software so that equipment functions as specified. Testing software modifications to the extent possible prior to delivery (shop test). Participating in, or leading start-up activities at customer sites which include: Reviewing and verifying electrical, PLC and HMI portions; Commissioning of equipment such that specifications are met; Delivering technical training to customers' operators and/or maintenance personnel as needed; Making return trips to customer sites to eliminate warranty issues or address customer needs.
Travel required 24% of the time to domestic locations throughout the United States, and 6% to Mexico and Canada.
