Duties:
Designing, developing, implementing, and supporting automation frameworks for MarkLogic's applications for data ingestion, curation, data management and orchestration.
Leveraging Agile process and CI/CD frameworks to deliver test automation.
Working on front end automation of Angular/React applications.
Performing automation using cloud platforms AWS and Azure.
Ensuring error minimization by performing strong Unix/Linux/Windows system administration and network troubleshooting.
Testing existing and new data and tools to ensure they are reliable, reusable, and maintainable for MarkLogic's applications for data ingestion, curation, data management and orchestration.
Designing and developing frameworks specifically for testing API, Java, and React based applications.
Analyzing requirements and exploratory testing as well as performing white box testing writing unit tests using JUnit and JavaScript.
Utilizing JavaScript-based development automation technologies (e.g. Gulp) and continuous integration processes and tools.
Developing and executing test strategies and test data creation to be used across various teams for scalability, performance, and stress testing.
Developing code with reusable components and operational strategies in the cloud and virtual environments (VMs, Docker containers, and similar) to support scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, and restore.
Conducting research and project development on a regular basis.
Collaborating with other departments on project status, proposals, and technical issues. Collaborating with Product Managers and DevOps to synchronize product requirements and improve processes and practices associated with CI and CD.
Working with QA engineers to develop more comprehensive tests to achieve desired software quality, availability, and scalability.
Working with software architects to propose future projects.
Working with Technical Writers to write documents of automated frameworks. Collaborating with the security team to ensure compliance with industry security standards.
Planning and preparing release activities based on performance levels, maintenance and upgrade requirements.
Analyzing functional requirements of the product, and formulating behaviors of the software.
Performing other technical duties as assigned.

Salary: $140,525 - $165,308/year
