Job Description: Perform as a member of the Technical Pre-Sales team whose mission is to enable customers to transform their business using Dassault Systemes' industry-leading solutions in the areas of simulation automation, simulation-driven design exploration and model-based system engineering. Analyze customer requirements and the industry and customer landscape to identify new business opportunities to position our simulation automation methods, multi-disciplinary optimization and model-based systems engineering solutions. Participate in technical sales engagement to communicate and demonstrate the value of Dassault Systemes solutions to address our customers' initiatives and business challenges. Drive North America revenue growth to achieve revenue targets through disciplined technical sales execution of the strategic and organic growth initiatives, leveraging Value Engagement Framework, to achieve sales targets. Proactively identify & qualify technical sales opportunities to ensure appropriate brands (CATIA, SIMULIA) are included in the offer. Understand and articulate the core values of 3DEXPERIENCE, with a focus on CATIA Systems, MBSE and Process Automation and Exploration. Contribute technical expertise to enable resources within or outside team through community posts, technical webinars, cross-brand enablement to other teams and creation of training material. Job Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills: 1. Solid mechanics modeling to understand how solid materials behave when subject to external or internal forces; 2. Finite element analysis (FEA) methods to predict how a structure will behave under specific conditions; 3. Linear & nonlinear analysis techniques in FEA to predict results accurately based on expected deformations, plasticity, contact, or dynamic loading; 4. Static and dynamic analysis applied to FEA to predict the stiffness, mass and damping effects of solid structures; 5. Parallel computing technologies to efficiently execute and post-process large scale simulations such as 3D FEA simulations; 6. Programming in C, Visual Basic and Python languages; and 7. Simulia software suite for process automation and design exploration. Employment and background checks may be required. Salary Range: $120,000 to $130,000 per year.
