Espressive, Inc. seeks a Backend Software Engineer in Santa Clara, CA.
Responsible for the design of the backend system of the Espressive software architecture. Software development of the backend modules, as well as associated test scripts/software. Responsible for quality of the backend module and partnering with the quality assurance team. Partner with product management team to determine long-term roadmap. Partner with customer success team to ensure we are building functionality that our customers know how to use effectively. Write well-documented software as well as its associated test scripts. Experience with search tools, such as Elasticsearch, Solr. Experience with Docker. SaaS experience (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday).
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field plus 3 years of experience. 3 years of experience in writing programs in languages such as Python, Java, and Go and object-oriented programming. 3 years of experience with building multi-tenant, cloud, scalable systems. 3 years of experience in algorithms, programming and other computer science related areas to solve real-world problems. 3 years of experience in using software development kits and application programming interfaces provided by 3rd party service providers. 3 years of experience with authentication and identity management services. Ability to learn other coding languages as demonstrated through any amount of prior employment experience.
