Aptiv seeks Radar Systems Engineer in Carmel, IN.
Participate in the development and production of radar sensors. Develop subsystem specifications for elements of a radar sensor based on top-level radar system requirements. Develop test strategies and methodologies to evaluate new or competing radar designs. Identify shortcomings in radar performance, diagnose root causes, and develop design changes or corrective action. Interface with multi-disciplinary product development team in support of design, integration and test of automotive radar systems.
This role requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or its foreign equivalent). Additionally, must have prior knowledge in each of the following: Radar technology microwave principles; Basic signal processing; MATLAB coding; Radar systems and radar signal processing; and FMCW radar systems. Knowledge can be gained through advanced degree course work or internship experience.
