Paycom Payroll, LLC seeks Site Reliability Engineer Sr.'s in Grapevine, Texas.
Duties: Architect and approve software development and processes to be performed by junior site reliability engineers that proactively eliminate incidents by detecting unusual error activity and reduce overall application/system errors. (40% of time) Review code and approve error logging and monitoring in new software development across all company developed applications. (10% of time) Take responsibility for removing, isolating, or remediating errors, debugs, warnings or other kinds of messages from existing logs to improve overall log content and usefulness. (10% of time) Establish, implement and track reliability metrics (MTTR, MTTD, MTBF) (10% of time) Effectively respond to escalated site reliability issues any time of the day while on-call. (10% of time) Conduct regular research on best practices and new technology for monitoring, alerting, error tracking and detection and application performance. (10% of time) Mentor and guide junior site reliability engineers. (10% of time). Must work at employer's office in Grapevine, TX at least 50% of the time; may be permitted to work from home other days.
