Aptiv seeks System Lead Engineer in Troy, MI.
Ensure that Systems Engineering Deliverables are achieved. Serve as the Customer interface systems engineer for the global team. Develop automation Scripts/Tools for System Engineering. Support software engineering teams with development, troubleshooting, integration, and lab testing. Create and execute test plans for the system, hardware, and validation/Reliability Engineering. Analyze Customer Requirements, and discuss and clarify them with the Customer. Communicate with the project team. Support local data collection efforts. Lead and/or Support presentations and meetings with the customer. Lead Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions for HW & SW issues.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, or Software) or Computer Science or related field (or its foreign equivalent) and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related positions. Position requires 5 years of experience in the following: IBM Rational Doors/Synergy database; Systems Engineering; Test Script & Automation Tools Development; Verification & Validation. Position also requires 3 years of experience with Python and 2 years of experience with Jira.
