Sr Mechanical & Microfluidics Engineer. Lead development mechanical subsystems, including enclosures, motion components, & thermal systems.
Requires MS Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related & 5 years progressive post baccalaureate experience in diagnostics, life sciences, or medical devices. Also requires experience working with PCR instruments or similar thermocycler; expert SolidWorks; experience with PDM systems design management & revision control; proficient FEA & CFD simulation using COMSOL/ANSYS, strong focus Multiphysics modeling & analysis; knowledge Arduino microcontrollers to control sensors, actuators, & perform automated data logging & real-time monitoring; knowledge Python/MATLAB for data analysis & post-processing; experience microfluidics, thermal systems, & regulated manufacturing, specifically ISO 13485; & hands-on skills prototyping, testing, & integration.
