Participate in the digital interface design and development of HashiCorp's product and website to meet customers' high expectations for quality and familiarity. Collaborate early and often with Engineers and Product Managers to provide HashiCorp's users with effective interface solutions to complex usability and application functionality challenges. The candidate will define design compatibility problems and goals, as well as map user flows, prototype user interactions, and launch new product interface features and services. Work across product design teams to identify emerging trends and turn them into reusable, uniform digital interface patterns for the product design process. Distill complex data models into highly usable and efficient UI (user interface) experiences and present design work (including prototypes and mockups) to stakeholders and customers. Deliver user-centered interface designs (including user flows, wireframes, and prototypes) informed by user and market research. Develop and maintain a code library and technical documentation (e.g. whitepapers) for all HashiCorp product design projects. Advocate uniform User Interface standards and accessibility for Designers, Engineers, and other internal stakeholders across all departments. Telecommuting and/or remote employment permitted.
Required:
Master's degree, or foreign equivalent in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position. Experience must include one (1) year of experience in the following: 1. User Experience (UX) Research and Design; 2. UI Design, Wireframing and Prototyping; 3. Interaction Design; 4. Design System Management; 5. Information Architecture (IA); 6. Website Design and Building; 7. Figma; 8. Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator; 9. Webflow and Framer; and 10. HTML/CSS. Telecommuting and/or remote employment permitted.
