Requires an M.D. or foreign equivalent, and peer review publication, conference presentation, or dissertation demonstrating research interest in musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging and neuroradiology.
Requires 24 months experience in:
- Data mining
- Data analysis
- Manuscript/presentation development
- Identifying barriers to radiology and imaging services
- Understanding social determinants of health
- Imaging result interpretation
The experience requirement can be met through employment, training, or an academic program.
The Research Associate in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences will engage in research to assist principal investigators with artificial intelligence (AI) based methods for developing innovative, noninvasive medical imaging and analysis solutions to improve diagnosis and prevention of medical conditions and disease.
Research will focus on:
- Application of AI tools to musculoskeletal and neurologic diagnostic imaging
- Algorithm development, validation, and deployment
- Data analysis and interpretation of imaging results
- Publishing research results
