Ally Bank has an opening for Director - Software Engineer based out of our Charlotte, NC office at 601 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202, responsible for managing the technology delivery, testing, and code promotion/quality of a portfolio of Compliance technology projects. Reviewing and evaluating performance of Software Development Managers and Software Developers within a matrix environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related. Experience must include: 7 years of experience managing projects in the technology sector. 3 years' experience delivering and/or supporting AML and Fraud technology. Experience developing, executing, and integrating with on-prem and remote applications, and SAS Financial Crimes platforms. Experience with cloud technical architecture, design, and infrastructure (incl cloud) to communicate effectively with technology delivery teams. Experience with Project Management methodologies and tools, resource planning, and forecasting. 4 years of experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle (Agile). 4 years of experience in leading programs including planning, estimation, risk management, staffing, change control, and status reporting.
Additional Information:
This is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address.
