Responsible for all electrical systems onboard including power generation systems, power distribution systems, engine room systems, switchboards, Programmable Logic Controls, fish processing systems, hotel systems, bridge systems & deck systems on factory trawler that operates in Alaska's Bering Sea & off coast of Washington & Oregon.
Requirements:
Requires 3 years experience as Marine Electronics Technician, Electro-Technical Chief, Electro-Technical Officer, or related role on vessel and in Shipyard. Full-time permanent position based in Seattle WA; multiple positions open. Must work onboard fishing vessel at sea or in port at least 155 days/year fishing in Alaska's Bering Sea, off coast of Washington & Oregon, & at Unant Shipyards in Seattle WA when not at sea or in port.
