Manages & leads the delivery of new product features, implementations, integrations to SGI & third-parties, maintenance, & other technical projects.
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field. Must have 8 years of progressive experience in software engineering positions, performing the following:
- Utilizing knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server & SQL Server Reporting Services
- Utilizing experience in ETL & writing stored procedures
- Utilizing experience in Database performance monitoring & tweaking
- Utilizing experience with performing Database Maintenance
- Performing data migration
- Utilizing experience in SQL Server Availability Groups
- Utilizing knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control & collaboration
- Utilizing knowledge of design patterns & clean coding practices
- Utilizing knowledge of security best practices as they relate to software engineering
- Utilizing experience in SQL server design & development patterns including SSRS, Stored Procedures, Views, & complex T-SQL
- Utilizing knowledge of building & operating software in the cloud including Azure, AWS, & Google Cloud
- Utilizing experience in Customer Interaction & Requirements Analysis
- Utilizing experience in software design & architecture best practices
