Program, machine, and design prototypes to support design decisions in R&D Engineering department. Support design of new commercial products and product development by prototyping, concept generation, and design for manufacturability. 10% domestic travel required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related engineering field
- 4 years' experience in position offered or related position, including:
- CNC machine tool programming, supervision & operation
- Manufacturing methods (swiss screw machine, 5-axis machining, wire EDM, CNC grinding)
- Program & machining multi-axis parts with multi-piece assemblies
- Design, program, and create parts using:
- Swiss Screw CNC Lathe
- Multi-axis Vertical Milling Center
- CNC Lathe
- Solid Works CAD
- Navigating CNC machining software and applications, including Master Cam
