Responsible for cellular assay design & development, planning, execution & analysis of assays to support discovery portfolio; generating cell insights & data package to support the progression of lead molecules into clinic.
Requirements:
Master's in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 1 year in the position or related experience. Must know (through academic training or work experience):
- Molecular cloning of plasmid DNA
- Cell culture of bacterial & yeast
- Designing recombinant proteins intended to act as adhesion protein
- Recombinant protein purification & expression
- Human blood nucleic acid extraction
- Human & murine T-cell isolation & enrichment
- Single-cell encapsulation using droplet digital (dd) polymerase chain reaction (PCR)
- Biological tissue disaggregation & nucleic acid extraction
- DNA gel electrophoresis
- Quantitative real-time PCR of viral RNA & DNA on human & humanized mouse tissue & blood samples
- Flow cytometric interpretation of lymphocyte phenotypes
- Managing lab, oversight, aid in assay design, troubleshooting & interpretation, & analysis of results
