Responsible for analytical needs of team of engineers, designers, and product/marketing managers: proposing and conducting innovative research into key user behaviors, product flows, and business trends; based on analysis and in collaboration with cross-functional partners, identifying potential new opportunities and next steps for product team; designing and analyzing experiments and other tests for causal inference to help scope new features, such as scenario modeling for possible impact on key metrics; defining and monitoring key metrics.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field + 2 years experience in job offered or related working on a 2-sided marketplace. Must know (through academic training or work experience) designing & managing A/B tests, multi-armed bandit, potential opportunities & defining key measurements for experiments on web & mobile apps; conducting statistical deep-dive analysis using SQL & Python to analyze customer behavior & identify pain points; data querying & manipulation using SQL, Python, or R; data analysis & statistical modeling using R or Python; maintaining reporting dashboard on Tableau & monitoring performance of product KPIs, provide data-driven insights on update of algorithms & evaluation metrics resulting in improvements of accuracy & model performance; & leading the design, analysis & interpretation of projects from data requirements gathering, to data processing, modeling & recommendations.
