Lead tax function & propose, establish & implement policies & processes to ensure that Company meets its tax, payment & filing obligations in U.S. & internationally.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Social Science
- 5 years progressive, post-bachelor's experience in position offered, as a Tax Manager or closely related position
- Must have Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure
- Must demonstrate ability in:
- Utilizing vendor data analysis to manage tax compliance & mitigate potential risks
- Using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT) to extract & analyze large datasets
- Identifying compliance risks & ensuring thorough reporting
- Analyzing complex legislative & regulatory tax law
- Developing tax positions for complex issues
- Reviewing & advising on tax contracts
- Drafting internal & external tax memos
- Building, maintaining, implementing & managing tax determination software engines
- Ensuring accurate & efficient tax calculations on large scale across multiple tax jurisdictions
- Utilizing knowledge of non-US/international tax regimes (VAT, GST) across numerous jurisdictions
- Managing global tax compliance
- Minimizing risks
- Supporting strategic business decisions
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week
