Support valuation & financial reporting of fixed annuity blocks. Work with valuation team in both reporting & analysis/review of US.
Requirements:
Bachelor's (US or foreign equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Financial, Math or related field + 2 years actuarial experience in life insurance & retirement industry. Completed 5 exams towards becoming Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA). Prior experience must include 2 years experience in following: actuarial calculations, including reserves & other actuarial balances; conducting waterfall impact analysis, stress tests, & sensitivity analysis; working with life products or annuities, including knowledge of US Statutory & GAAP Valuation; working with actuarial modeling software; maintaining & enhancing control mechanisms; business analytics & use of Microsoft Excel for development of tools that facilitate interpretation of actuarial model results in clear & accessible manner; capability to conduct impact assessments for modifications in key assumptions & updates to models, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify accuracy of actuarial model calculations.
