Skills and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in product development, issue resolution, and best practices development
- Drive entire tech stack from low-level database operations to front-end development
- Define system architecture and collaborate with product owners
- Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in Java and object-oriented languages
- Mentor developers and contribute to Scrum team processes
- Develop analytics, surveillance, and data processing solutions
- Utilize full stack skills in AWS, Java, Spring Framework, Hadoop, Spark, AngularJs
- Conduct performance tuning and enhance distributed data analytics software
- Configure and maintain Hadoop-based platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology
- 3 years of experience in job or related occupation
- 2 years of technical leadership experience
- 2 years of experience in AWS or Google Cloud
- 2 years of experience in Big Data and ETL solutions
- Position headquartered in New York, NY with national project site placement
- Approximately 15% travel required
