Sr. Software Engineer at Magic Leap, Inc. Position located in Sunnyvale, CA. Design, implement, validate, integrate and write test coverages for graphics algorithms. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues. Work hand-in-hand with all the key stakeholders and developers across the company contributing to the graphics pipeline. Help drive the integration and development of necessary tooling and automation (profiling, testing/verification, monitoring, etc.) that allows the team to move faster and more confidently. Review and provide feedback to peer developer's code in the team to ensure highest code quality. Document work, create technical documentation as needed.
Requirements:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Must have verifiable proficiency with the following skills: Develop software with C++ programming and debugging; Implement and optimize graphics algorithms with graphics APIs like Direct X, Open GL, or Vulkan; Design and implement modern 3D graphics applications using game engines like Unity or Unreal; Write vertex, fragment, and compute shaders using shading languages (Cg, HLSL, GLSL, SPIR-V); GPU optimization for improved frame-rate and reduced latency; Graphics performance and power analysis.
