Business Analyst Data Engineer II at the Utah System of Higher Education in Salt Lake City: Requires at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field; and 24 months of experience with the following: developing ML algorithms to improve data warehouse architecture in a cloud system; reading and writing Python, SQL, R and Java; testing and optimizing data warehouse pipelines; working with Continuous Integration (CI/CD) systems; working with Terraform or similar infrastructure specifications; maintaining version control over multiple code and data repositories; and cloud architecture design. Experience requirements may be satisfied through employment, training or an academic program.
Job Requirements:
Business Analyst Data Engineer II creates and administers databases. Will oversee computer infrastructure and data access processes to drive data privacy, security and integrity within the Utah Data Research Center within USHE. Support disaggregated computing (cloud native, hybrid web and client analytics); Read and write SQL, Typescript, Java, Python, and R; lead improvement and architecture initiatives throughout the system lifecycle; develop ML algorithms to improve data warehouse architecture, test and optimize data warehouse pipelines.
