Design technical specifications of software systems based on product requirements. Bachelor's degree (U.S or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Math, or related field of study & 4 years of experience in backend software engineering or related position.
Must have 4 years of experience with: Developing, maintaining, & scaling distributed backend services in Java; Working with cloud platforms, including GCP; Data modeling, database design, & query optimization with SQL, NoSQL, & OLAP databases; & Experience with system design, data structures, & algorithms.
Must have 2 years of experience with: Technical writing & communication, including documenting decisions, writing RFCs & other technical specification documents, & translating product briefs into technical designs; & modern developer tooling - Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code frameworks, monitoring tools.
Must have 1 year of experience with: Building & maintaining websocket endpoints; & working with GRPC.
