Responsibilities include application fixes and enhancements with COBOL, CICS, VSAM & DB2. Multiple Positions.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
- 5+ years experience as a Software Engineer or Technical Lead
- 5 years experience with:
- Designing and developing software systems
- Developing business requirements & functional specifications with COBOL, CICS, & DB2
- Developing enhancements and system documentation with COBOL, CICS, & DB2
- Integrating new modules with existing systems
- Defining test data for integration testing
- Carrying out system study/functional setup of various modules with VSAM & DB2 IMS
- Performing testing in Mainframe environment before production deployment
- Creating custom applications/representing and implementing business models with REXX
- Writing SQL queries to extract data
- Using debug tools to fix production issues
- Experience with JAVA, SOAP, REST services, & Agile
