Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or closely related field & 5 years progressive, post-bachelor's experience in position offered or as Software Development Engineer, or closely related position. Alternatively, employer will accept Master's degree & 3 years experience in above positions. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
Must have experience in:
- Utilizing Agile & software development processes at all levels of SDLC (requirements gathering, documentation, design, development, code review, testing & production support)
- Utilizing API to design, develop & add new features/API to app/platform following design patterns & best practices
- Utilizing Database modeling/design tools, such as Postgres & DynamoDB, to design & implement new data models supporting backend product requirements
- Utilizing Amazon Cloud Services & Kubernetes to operate & manage critical scalable cloud services infrastructure
- DevOps software for large-scale & distributed system services
- Utilizing SQL for data mining & manipulation, analysis & modeling data sets to ensure data is reliable in Software Platform
- Utilizing Object-Oriented & Programming Languages, Java & Kotlin to build software
- Utilizing algorithms & data structures to write unit tests for code & services
