Position located in Sunnyvale, CA. Design and implement robust automation frameworks and testing tools, enabling streamlined and efficient QA processes for Magic Leap AR devices. Develop a comprehensive automation framework from the ground up to support KUKA robotic arms in conjunction with Magic Leap devices in order to automate manual testing of critical device features such as head pose, world reconstruction, eye tracking, and sensor calibration, significantly reducing manual efforts.
Engineer a suite of sophisticated tools designed to automate and streamline the testing process. Design and implement light brightness and color controller and provide a Python developed API available for future robot test automation. As part of WR team on a regular basis responsible for capturing and analyzing volumetric data in various Data Sets, periodic KPI run-time measurements, digital twin compilations. Design and implement shell scripts to automate ADB command sequences, drastically improving the testing workflow for Magic Leap devices.
Leverage Unity3D and 3DS Max, creating multiple applications to simulate different performance metrics for Pixel Stick performance, including Pixel Stick drift and jumps. Test advanced algorithms such as Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), world reconstruction (3D world modeling, mesh accuracy, scene understanding), eye and hand tracking, object recognition, Dense (Sparse) Map Merge (DMM) with long-term localization, Cloud Base Localization (CBL) and cloud functionalities.
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; plus 2 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation. Must have 2 years of experience with the following skills: Embedded Systems; SDK; Android/Linux platforms; Python; C#, C/C++; Git/GITHUB.
