Instrumentation Technician for Siemens Energy, Inc. to prepare and coordinate commissioning and assembly of large gas turbines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field + 8 years experience required. Will accept 2 years experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Full-term experience must include:
- Gas turbine assembly
- 6 years experience with:
- Test sensor applications in strain gages
- Test sensor applications in thermocouples
- Test sensor applications in dynamic/static pressures
- Instrumentation repair techniques
- Instrumentation probes/rakes manufacturing
- Instrumentation sealing techniques for gas turbine testing
- Data acquisition operations & troubleshooting
Travel: 20% domestic, 10% international required
