Two Sigma Investments, LP seeks Technical Program Mgr in NY, NY. Includes but not limited to own entire project lifecycle, including planning, delivery, resource allocation, work breakdown structures & daily project management tasks. Develop & implement program execution strategies to ensure scalability of platform engineering systems both on-cloud & on-premise to meet growing data needs of business.
Note: Company "Hybrid" work attendance policy: In-office work attendance required at aforementioned office address for collaboration days based on each team's requirement; telecommuting/working from home permissible for remainder of same month.
Job Requirements:
Must have Master's or equivalent in CS, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field + 3 years experience in technical program management in financial services or technology company or related experience; OR Bachelor's or equivalent in CS, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field + 5 years experience in technical program management in financial services or technology company, or related experience.
Must have experience with:
- Independently managing projects using Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Collaborating with multiple teams
- Applying prioritization & project management skills, including communication of timelines, status updates & addressing customer concerns
- Defining product lifecycle planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing & deployment of cloud/platform infrastructure capabilities & operations
- Using data to provide insights to execution management decisions & evaluate adoption and/or migration of new features & capabilities
- Working with large, cross-functional teams
- Platform infrastructure domains & cloud technologies
- Networking & compute infrastructure systems design
- Database management & time series storage solutions
- Software development lifecycle platform & workflows
